- Membership program
By setting up this website, we hope to increase our
membership this year. As a member, you will be invited
to all CAPANA’s activities and will periodically receive
information about research activities and opportunities
of the Pacific Rim. We are setting up a membership
database, which will allow members to learn about each
others’ research and teaching interests and will
hopefully facilitate more exchanges among members.
- Networking activities
We
plan to use the website to inform our members research
activities in the Greater China. Every year, there are
numerous research conferences in the mainland, Hong Kong
and Taiwan. We plan to ask the organizers to post their
call for papers and participating in our new website.
To facilitate better networking, we are
exploring the idea of organize a mentoring program for
Phd students and young faculty at the AAA annual
meeting. We will poll our members to find out the level
of interest in such an activity. |
