CONFERENCE DETAILS:

There will be approximately 7-8 papers to be presented at the conference. Papers should be well developed, but at a stage where they can still benefit from participants' discussion. The format of the presentation is similar to a regular workshop except that there will be a discussant for each paper.

From the pool of the conference submissions that are not accepted for regular presentation, a number of papers will be selected for a poster session during which a relatively senior faculty member will meet privately with the submitting author to help improve the paper.

The working language of the conference is English. Only papers written in English will be considered. While both China-related and non-China-related papers are encouraged,
one slot will be reserved for China study to promote research in this area.

Based on the overwhelming response to the first two conferences, early submission is encouraged. Selection of papers will be made through a double-blind review process.
Acceptance decisions are expected to be announced in late March, 2010. For the first time, there will be a best paper award of $500 voted by conference participants towards the
end of presentations.
